Victoria Wagner
President and CEO, National Network for Youth

Ms. Wagner is a Senior Executive with thirty years experience successfully leading and managing organizations in the not-for-profit sector. She is currently the President and Chief Executive Officer of the National Network for Youth (NNY), the national membership organization that represents the needs of homeless youth to policy and lawmakers. She provides oversight of all member services, conferences, public policy activities with congressional delegates, and works with the Administration to ensure continued prioritizing of high risk and homeless youth. Ms. Wagner was herself a runaway in the late 1960’s. Incarcerated for a year as a runaway, she has devoted her career to changing the lives and circumstances of runaway and homeless youth.

Ms. Wagner, who holds a Masters degree in Psychology served as the Chief Executive Officer of YouthCare a multi-million dollar agency devoted to homeless and runaway youth from 1985 – 2004. She oversaw all agency operations, clinical and business, worked directly with the Board of Directors to assure seamless agency operations. She also served as community spokesperson for the organization.

Ms. Wagner has served as a board member for numerous organizations such as the International Forum for Child Welfare, the Child Welfare League of America International Committee, and the Council on Accreditation. She’s been an invited speaker at numerous national and international conferences presenting on issues such as programming, policy, and the research needs of high risk and homeless youth.

She is the recipient of numerous awards including the 2004 Lifetime Achievement Award from the Seattle Business Leaders Luncheon; the 1993 Outstanding Service Award from NNY; and the 1989 Youth Leader of the Year Award from the Northwest Network for Youth and the Power of One award from YouthCare in 2007.
